The Tipsy - formerly The Tipsy Toad - is the site of the original Skinner's Brewery. Recently [2019] refurbished with one main bar. Four hand pumps with rotating beers. A large selection of Gins is also available. Friendly staff and comfortable seating. There is a patio area with outdoor heating. Liberation brew a beer for the pub 'Tipsy Toad Ale'- a 3.8% Bitter. It has a separate restaurant area and an extensive menu is available.

An April 2025 report stated that there were now just two handpumps and both appeared to be unused. Please send updates if you have further news on real ale availability.
