      Formerly known Rea's Bistro, and before that the Coxswain, this is a venue that is popular with locals as well as visitors. The bar's welcoming landlords are enthusiastic about quality real ale, and guest beers may be on sale during the summer. Another attraction is the lovely location, just 100 yards from the harbour. Good-value food is served from April to October.

Car Park can get very full during the busy summer months.

      There are three bars, the main and largest being the lounge bar which is food orientated and has a mix of tables and chairs; if you are not looking to eat there are comfy chairs near the fire. On all the tables are cards informing you whether or not the table is reserved and asking you to vacate the table by that time. Then there is the Tap Room, off to the side of the lounge bar, with its 3 large TVs which is used to show sports events and for private hire events. The third bar is the public bar which focuses on community with a meat draw and open the box every Friday evening. There are five hand pumps, with one local regular from Randalls (either Patois or Seasonal), a changing range of three beers and one local cider Rocky (from Rocquets Cider).

      Modern pub on the main road to the airport. The emphasis is on food, and a popular choice of meals is served. Tables cannot be booked ahead and the bar can get busy in the evenings. Outside, there is a large, sunny, decked patio perfect for summer dining, as well as benches dotted about on the grass. The car park fills up quickly at peak times.

      The Bel Air Inn is located at the top of Harbour Hill, a 750m walk during which you'll gain 80m of altitude. For the less energetic, ride the “toast rack” towed up the hill by a tractor. No cars on this island.

      This is a friendly pub popular with both tourists and local residents. Interior walls are decorated with local history and maritime pictures. Two hand pumps serve a changing selection of real ales, and a real cider. Open all day every day, with pizza available from noon until late to eat in or take away.

      Off licence sales available, including a number of bottled ales, with delivery service if required.

      There is a large beer garden and courtyard where food and drink can be enjoyed on warm days. During the summer, barbecues and live music feature at the weekend. Dogs are welcome. Cosy fire in winter.

      A pub established before WW2, it is a little like Sark - an island that harks back to an earlier time. The decor has remained unchanged since the 1960s. The pub is child friendly and serves snacks, such as Pizza and sandwiches on request. There is an outdoor seating area. A locals pub, which extends a warm welcome to island visitors. Darts and pool can be played, in addition to the jukebox and piano. The piano is available for spontaneous sing songs or a dance!

TV screens in both bars. Handy for the local shops at Red Houses and close to the old railway line which is now a footpath/cycle track. Parking across the road and behind the pub.

      The Westward pub (within the Old Court House) offers three bar areas, including one made from the original tender to the famous Westward ship, and offers pub food and local real ale. Pleasant conservatory and patio area overlooking the harbour. The original building is around 400 years old and this houses the restaurant and accommodation. Recently added the Liberation Brewery Tap Bar. This is the new showpiece for the Liberation Brewery and has three of it's beers available including beers from it's acquisition of Butcombe.

      Perched close to the beach on the edge of Ouaisne Bay, the Smugglers has been the jewel in the crown of the Jersey real ale scene for many years. Steeped in history, dating back to when pirates coming into the bay enjoyed an ale or two here, it is set within granite-built fishermen's cottages with foundations reputedly from the 13th century. Up to four real ales are usually available including a house ale brewed by Liberation and 2 changing guest beers. Mini beer festivals are regularly held. The pub is well known for its good food and fresh daily specials.

      A great pub for families with indoor and outdoor children's play areas. Near to historic sites and good walks. Excellent floral displays and ivy-clad building. Several bar areas round a main servery. Plenty of outside seating. Dogs welcome outside only. Super views over the sea and bay just next to the pub. The bus stops in the car park. Food service hours may vary in summer and in Mamma's Kitchen (pizza/pasta) - please check.

      Possibly Jersey's first micropub as it is a single room with few tables and stools around the walls. There is a small bar counter with real ales on handpump and a craft beer wall behind. Popular with office workers and fast becoming a destination bar for real beer lovers. The bar is on the corner of Bath Street and Hilgrove Street and is interconnected with the nearby Bastille restaurant and bar where the real ales may also be consumed. Tables outside on the pedestrian street where food from the Bastille is served.

      The Blue Note Bar, situated in St Helier is a friendly jazz & blues bar. Small bar with bright and sparkling fittings. Note the old Mary Ann signage. Hosting a wide variety of popular artists and musicians; the bar is a great place to enjoy exceptional live music from various artists. The premises have 3 levels with a friendly bar on the ground floor. The upper floor is used for live music and has it's own bar. No food available.

      Traditional town centre pub in the pleasant Royal Square. Al Fresco eating and drinking. Great place to sit and watch the world go by especially on a warm summer's day. Small ground floor bar in "Olde-Worlde" stye with another bar upstairs(can be used for functions). Access also from Halkett Place. The pub was once known as "Cosy Corner" back in the 1960's.

      Large imposing pub which dates back to the 1800's and is on the main road between St.Helier and St.Aubin with bus stops just down the road. There is one very big bar with raised area plus a games room with snooker table and a small patio area at the rear. Pool and darts can also be played. A new food menu should be available soon - based on a "Swedish Kitchen". Basically it is a local's pub although visitors are very welcome as are children although the play area is no longer there. The one real ale will vary on a regular basis.

      Situated only a 2min walk from town centre, the pub is named after the cinema that once occupied the site opposite. It has a modern interior but with a classic feel and includes a number of brass plaques that were taken from the old Royal Court building. Live sport and background music often feature. Five hand pumps with three real ales always available, and a large range of real ciders. Food is served in the bar from the Thai restaurant above. Traditional board games and darts available. Local CAMRA Pub of the Year 2010 and 2011.

      September 2023 report said that only one of the five handpumps was in use, carrying Old Speckled Hen at the time.

      A very busy, popular town pub with the largest selection of real ales and ciders on the island. A single room with a mix of seating styles and TV's for sporting events. The beers are now all served by handpumps (not so long ago some came straight from the cask) and the range can vary from day to day. Beers from Marstons and Skinners often feature as do other guest ales from the mainland and Guernsey. They also offer a fantastic range of whiskies which includes some exclusive and rare brands. No meals served but excellent Scotch Eggs and Pork Pies are available.

      There are three hand pumps.

      Beers from Liberation Ale and Herm Island Gold plus one other. Modern décor with a mixture of furniture and colour styles lends more to 'Bistro' than 'Boozer' as does the menu. Much improved from it's previous incarnation. Modernised food-led bar, specialising in Pizza but drinkers are welcome. A short walk from the town centre, shops, Opera House and bus station.

      The pub is nestled in the corner of the Royal Square in the centre of St Helier. Named after Major Francis Peirson, it contains historical reminders of the Battle of Jersey in 1781. One ale is always on handpump plus an occasional additional ale on gravity. Excellent food is served at lunchtime throughout the year, with evening meals also on offer in summer. The pub has a good reputation with locals and visitors alike. Outside seating is extremely popular in the summer months.

      Busy, friendly pub adjacent to the precinct and five minutes' walk from the Royal Square, recently refurbished. Popular at lunchtimes with its own nucleus of regulars, it offers up to four draught ales. The large L-shaped public bar extends into the lounge area where there is an open fire and TV showing sport. A good selection of freshly cooked food is served. There is a large function room on the first floor, a drinking area outside and a public car park nearby.

      A traditional pub, next to the historic central market, offering a large selection of up to eight cask ales which are advertised on blackboards. Victorian style interior with a bright and sparkling back bar which features a large selection of whiskies. No food is served but there are a number of eateries nearby. The beer garden - at the rear - is a pleasant spot to have a relaxing drink before, during or after your shopping. Note that the pub is Cash only, no card payments.

      Reported in September 2023 to be a cash only bar and this was confirmed March 2024.

      Lovely old farmhouse pub/restaurant, a short walk from St.Johns village centre. Two buildings - the main pub and the L'Auberge du Nord which may not open at midweek in winter. Family friendly and popular with island bus tours. The bar has a rustic appeal but with a modern twist. Handy for coastal footpaths. ** Please note that this property has recently been bought by Randalls (Pubco) so beer range and other facitiies may change as a result.

      Traditional country pub which once was a farmhouse dating back to the 17th Century; there are low beams and door lintels throughout the pub. It now caters for all the family, offering a wide range of food and up to two real ales. Children's menu available. Pub is popular with coach parties and can fill up quickly at lunchtimes. Phone ahead and reserve a table if you want to eat.

      It's a healthy walk from St.John's village and the bus stop. Known locally as "the Northern Office". Views over the north coast and even to France!

      Wheelchairs welcome with assistance, though no disabled access toilets.

      A very pleasant little village pub opposite the imposing church. There is a small public bar to the right as you enter and The Noshery on the left, which is for dining. At the rear is The Map Room (which as you might guess features old maps and is where you can take your children). The bar has a TV set but is mainly used to show rugby which is a popular topic in the pub. Dogs are welcome in the bar and "bikkies" are provided. There is a public car park across the road and buses stop outside.

      In a secluded location down a country lane, this is a popular locals' pub with a lively, friendly atmosphere. It has a small, raised area in front of the bar furnished with a sofa to make a comfy zone. Meals can be eaten in the bar or bistro area, or you can take away a pizza. A meat draw is held on Friday. The car park to the rear fills up quickly.

Excellent meals and pizzas served in the bar or the separate restaurant. Live music on Friday nights and occasional Wednesdays. Popular with locals and visitors. Seasonal real cider.

      Large, traditional, country-style pub (ex coaching inn) at the centre of St Martin with sizeable public and lounge bars and restaurant area. Guest ales are from the Marston’s (Ringwood) and Skinner’s stables and the range may vary from those listed.       One of the island's oldest pubs this farmhouse-style building is popular with locals and tourists alike. The bar has stone walls and a features half-barrels on the counter front and in winter months, a roaring fire. There is a small function room up the stone staircase. It is noted for it's home made fish & chips. Caters well for families with a kid's indoor playground. A good place to rest after the walk down to Devil's Hole - and the bus stops in the car park.       An archetypal country inn from the outside, this 17th-century farmhouse is sited opposite the 13th century parish church which has a history dating back to Norman times. Following refurbishment in 2009, the interior is contemporary with a main bar and an extensive dining area. A more traditional public bar is separate and is popular with locals. Four handpumps serve Liberation ales plus one from Butcombe and another Liberation Seasonal Ale when available. Reasonably priced good food is available daily from an extensive menu. The inn has a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with seating outside front and rear for when the sun shines. A reasonable walk from the north coast.

      May 2022 report says that there are now only three handpumps.

      Situated in the hub of St Ouen, the rustic Farmers Inn is a typical country pub offering up to three ales as well as a locally made cider when available (usually April-July). Traditional pub food is served in generous portions (Thursday & Friday evenings) Best described as a friendly community local, there is a good chance of hearing Jersey French (Jerriais) spoken at the bar. Large outdoor seating area.

      Another free house on the island offering a range of real ales, the Moulin is a converted 12th-century watermill situated in the valley above the beach at Greve de Lecq. The waterwheel is still in place and the turning mechanism can be seen behind the bar. A restaurant adjoins the mill. There is a children's play space and a barbecue area used extensively in the summer.

      The old Forester's Arms (dating from 1717) has been totally rebuilt and transformed into a new bar, bistro and restaurant with high quality food and a mix of old and new decor. Normally two real ales available. Snacks and sandwiches are also available It is probably the only thatched pub on Jersey. The beers come from Liberation Brewery and the Randalls Pubco range and may vary seasonally. The pub may close early on quiet days.

      Country Inn in St Pierre du Bois parish. Nice redecoration inside and out which has retained the country inn feel. Very popular during the week for food. There is a single handpump which tends to serve Liberation IPA as favoured by regulars. Food is served at lunchtimes and in the evening. The bar is closed all day Monday and during the afternoon Tues-Sun. Note winter hours may vary from those shown. Closed on Mondays.

      The Tipsy - formerly The Tipsy Toad - is the site of the original Skinner's Brewery. Recently refurbished with one main bar. Four hand pumps with rotating beers. A large selection of Gins is also available. Friendly staff and comfortable seating. There is a patio area with outdoor heating. Liberation brew a beer for the pub 'Tipsy Toad Ale'- a 3.8% Bitter. It has a separate restaurant area and an extensive menu is available.

      Traditional 2 bar country pub (aka Vic in the Valley) offering good value food including veggie option. One bar is mainly for drinking while the other is set out for diners. Modern decor in a lovely old pub in the gorgeous setting of St.Peter's Valley - enjoy the countryside views from the garden. A new footpath/Cycle Track from Tesson Mill and the Water Mill is now complete which takes you further up the valley to St Mary's. Just the one beer which usually comes from Butcombe. You won't get a closer bus stop than the one back to town! Oh - and beware of low flying aircraft!

      Located on the ground floor of a former coach house in the grounds of Hotel de Havelet. There are two hand pumps located in the bar serving local ales. There are wonderful views of St. Peter Port, Castle Cornet and Havelet Bay. The name Copenhagen derives from the favourite horse of the first Duke of Wellington, Arthur Wellesley. The decor has many nods to its equestrian past along with a Scandinavian feel.

      Situated in the heart of St Peter Port, opposite the Victoria Pier, with superb panoramic views of the marina and neighbouring islands. Liberation and Butcombe beers. Excellent bar meals with a daily changing range of specials. The ground floor 'pub' has four handpumps though not all may be in use and the actual number of beers available may vary between one and three. The Crows Nest above the pub serves meals lunchtimes and evenings but there is no handpump - only bottles. However, if they are not too busy the staff will bring beer up from the bar for you. Real cider is also on handpump (though reported as not available May 2022).
